Kiwi Office

Kiwi Office is all about getting you the right stuff for your business. As a company, Kiwi Office pride themselves on their customer support and they have a long track record of helping Kiwi businesses to back this up. Our partnership with Kiwi Office began in late 2018 and started with the planning, design and build of a new website that caters for B2B and B2C customers. Since then we have worked together to further improve site performance, fine tuning and making adjustments based on data and user feedback.

The mission

Our mission was to improve the user experience for Kiwi Office customers by reducing page load times and making it easier to find and order products. This site also had to integrate with the clients existing ERP solution, JIWA. We also made a number of recommendations on improvements we could make to the user experience that would remove some of the pain points their customers had shared.

The outcome

This was not our first JIWA integration and so we were able to address the page speed problems of the existing site by re-building from the ground up using our own CMS. We created a sleek modern platform that gave the client more options to promote individual products, product categories and ranges effectively.

We introduced a mega menu that allows for quick navigation and presents all of the product options available along with a smart search with dynamic auto suggestions both of which have vastly reduced the time it takes to track down supplies.

For product browsing we introduced an improved product filtering system that allows you to quickly dial in your specific requirement and we’ve had some great feedback from customers around this.

We completely overhauled the cart and checkout process, starting with our base module we listened to the clients specific requirements for this and were even able to add in some bells and whistles on their wish-list.

The functionality of the checkout was tailored specifically to Kiwi Offices needs in catering for their B2B and B2C customer base. We have employed strategies to upsell products and capture new customers via smarter strategies to encourage profile sign-ups and convert these to account holders. The data around how effective this has been so far is very positive.

The impact

Since the new site launched conversion rates have greatly increased, bounce rates have dropped significantly and cart abandonment is at an all time low. There has also been an upturn in new customers. Existing customers have been very vocal in their praise for the improvements in site performance in particular.

The Kiwi Office redesign was more than a project for our team and has turned into an ongoing partnership. The benefit in working like this being we completely understand the client’s business and their needs.
