Driven by a consistent demand for our services, we are expanding our development team and are currently seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join us.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

As a key member of our small but established team, you will collaborate with specialist designers and developers on diverse projects spanning multiple clients and industries.

In this role, you will develop and enhance custom websites and bespoke web applications using the Laravel PHP framework and Vue.js. Each project will challenge and advance your coding skills, pushing you to excel.

We seek a skilled Full Stack Developer with proven experience in PHP and JavaScript frameworks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, take initiative, and assume ownership of their work throughout the scoping, design, development and delivery process. 

 

Skills and experience

We are seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for developing websites and bespoke web applications.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• PHP Frameworks: Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel (our primary framework), Symfony, or CodeIgniter..
• JavaScript Frameworks: Proficiency in Vue.js, React, Angular, or jQuery.
• CSS Frameworks: Familiarity with Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.
• APIs: Experience with RESTful APIs and/or SOAP web services.

Desirable Skills:

• MySQL: Experience with database management.
• Development Tools: Knowledge of Composer, NPM/Yarn, Webpack.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding of security and vulnerability best practices.
• Web Servers: Familiarity with Apache and Nginx.
• CI/CD: Understanding of continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Design Tools: Experience with Figma.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will:

• Maintain high standards of code quality and be proficient with Git-based source control.
• Consult on technical solutions for business requirements and provide accurate scope and time estimates.
• Collaborate effectively with both front-end and back-end developers.
• Perform thorough testing of your work, including automated user and browser compatibility testing where possible.
• Work closely with UI designers to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
• Demonstrate additional experience beyond the core requirements.
• Provide sample sites and source code as part of your application.
