Green Valley

Green Valley is an exciting, innovative company and a leading supplier in the NZ Dairy Industry. This family run kiwi business is a fully independent milk company and the Southern hemisphere’s largest fully organic dairy farm. The team at Green Valley approached us in 2017 with an exciting opportunity to design and develop a brand new website to replace the dated site that had been up for a number of years.

We have been in partnership with Green Valley ever since and have taken on further projects such as advertising campaigns, product packaging and social media graphics.

The Mission

Our mission was to work with the existing logo but develop a fresh, modern brand personality online that would communicate the passion and innovation this company is known for.

The client had a number of sub-brands catering to different markets and were looking for options on how to promote these effectively.

Another objective was to showcase the manufacturing capability of their farms and the innovative services available to their clients.

We were invited to visit Marphona Farm and had a tour of the manufacturing facility which gave us a great insight into how their operations run.

The Outcome

We designed and developed a new website with a modern aesthetic that has personality and charm. We worked hard to deliver visual impact, sourcing a talented local photographer who captured both the personal and operational side of their business on location at the farm. Type choice was one aspect of the new design that struck a chord with the Marketing team. We opted for a font pairing that featured a loose, brush script with lots of character alongside a more traditional web font that has great legibility on all display sizes.

The new site offers a very authentic and personal insight into Green Valley and what they stand for. We have been able to tell their whole story - the new site is now more than a store-front for their product offerings.

The Impact

Since the new site launched the team at Green Valley have seen more engagement from potential customers and members of the public taking an interest in what they’re doing. This is evident in the increased number of enquiries that arrive via the website.

The new online brand has raised the company's profile and has given the team a platform to promote their very popular Barista Range of Milks. The Barista Ran ge is a favourite among the cafe industry and up until this point this was only known via word of mouth or printed literature. We delivered a dedicated blog for Barista which is being used to build a community around this innovative sub brand.

With a brand new website and established digital brand the team at Green Valley were able to shift focus to producing new product lines and creating new opportunities. We continue to work with Green Valley, supporting them with Graphic Design and Brand Development services.
